Get Involved

We believe that financial support alone cannot transform our villages. Transformation requires involvement and commitment from the wider community. As Gandhiji said, “India lives in her villages.” We hope that all Indians can be inspired to involve themselves in rural development. If you want to take part in this movement, we invite you to join hands with us.

We believe in working alongside rural communities to help them envision and achieve developmental goals for their community. Creating instruments of change requires that we ourselves become instruments of change. If you believe in our cause and our philosophy, join hands with us and contribute toward the changes we are trying to make.

We need volunteers who can spare a few hours each week to work with us. Our volunteer opportunities include:

  • Visiting villages where we work and helping in our efforts as needed
  • Visiting village households as follow-up calls
  • Encouraging households to implement learning from our programs
  • Teaching and/or conducting workshops for communities on relevant topics
  • Conducting career guidance for school students
  • Conducting civic awareness and life skills programs for school students
  • Organizing and/or participating in street plays
  • Assisting in advocacy and communication…and many more
